I entered the Hogar Abrazo de Amor at age 15, and today I am a stylist with a diploma in cosmetology and barbering. I am deeply grateful, because thanks to the home I was able to overcome many challenges, especially in education, earning my high school diploma and beginning my professional career. I also received valuable workshops on finance, business management, interviewing, emotional and spiritual development, baking, and culinary arts. Although I no longer live there, Hogar Abrazo de Amor continues to provide me with support and guidance. I feel blessed to have found a place where I felt safe, loved, and motivated to grow. I will always carry them in my heart.

Paola Castillo

I entered Hogar Abrazo de Amor at 16, afraid, but also with the desire to achieve great things. There I received mentorship, guidance, and constant support from caregivers who guided me every step of the way. Today I study at the University of Puerto Rico, Arecibo campus, majoring in Production and Directing, and I actively participate in the Histriones theater group, with which I have carried out numerous projects and even performances in Mexico. Everything I have achieved is the result of the learning and support I received in the homes, especially at Hogar Abrazo de Amor, to which I owe a great deal of my personal and professional growth.
