  • SOCIAL

    We provide social and emotional support  through workshops, activities, and group
    sessions led by a social worker. The admission of minors is coordinated in
    collaboration with other agencies, and regular case discussions and
    interdisciplinary meetings are held to plan and tailor services to the
    participants' needs.

  • HEALTH

    The girls receive comprehensive healthcare services from the
    moment they enter the home, including complete medical evaluations, specialist
    appointments as needed, and ongoing monitoring by nursing staff. The home
    collaborates with the Medical Services Corporation (IPA-19) and D&G
    Ambulance Inc. to handle emergencies.

  • PSICOLOGICAL

    Weekly individual and group psychological therapies are
    offered, led by HOPE professionals, to help the girls manage their mental
    health and strengthen their self-esteem and emotional stability.

  • PSYCHIATRIC

    Minors requiring psychiatric services are evaluated and treated by a psychiatrist from the APS Health Puerto Rico Clinic, with continuous follow-up by the Home.

  • 24/7 SUPERVISION

    We offer 24-hour supervision to ensure the safety and well-being of the children, including accompanying them in their daily, educational, and recreational activities.

  • EDUCATION

    Hogar Abrazo de Amor provides comprehensive educational resources, including transportation, school supplies, and tutoring. They work in coordination with the Puerto Rico Department of Education to ensure the continuity of the girls' education.

  • NUTRITION

    Hogar Abrazo de Amor offers a menu certified by a nutritionist, tailored to the children's needs. Nutrition talks are also given, and activities are held to teach basic food preparation skills.

  • TRANSPORTATION

    Three official vehicles are available for transporting the minors to school, medical appointments, recreational activities, and other necessary events.

  • WORKSHOPS

    The girls participate in educational and recreational workshops tailored to their ages and needs, with the aim of empowering them and improving their self-esteem.

  • RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES

    A variety of recreational, sporting and cultural activities are offered, both inside and outside the Home, for the enjoyment and integral development of the girls.

  • MUSIC & FINE ARTS

    In collaboration with the Puerto Rico Conservatory of Music and the 100 X 35 Program, music and visual arts classes are taught.

  • SPIRITUAL SERVICES

    Spiritual activities are organized, respecting the beliefs of the minors, to promote their spiritual and personal development.

  • SPEECH & LANGUANGE THERAPY

    The girls who require it receive personalized speech and language therapy through Vimar Therapy Group.

  • OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIES

    Occupational therapies are offered to minors who need them, with individualized service plans provided by Future Start Therapy.

  • PERSONAL ITEMS

    The Home provides all essential items, including clothing and hygiene products, educating the girls on the responsible management of their resources.
